Ash Platter
John Altberg

Ash Platter

This platter is about 10.5" in diameter. The rim is finished with rattlle can black lacquer that has been stripped back with mineral spirits and then lightly sanded. I finished it with de-waxed shellac and Watco Danish Oil then buffed it out.

C&C welcomed
John I love the rim treatment. I am doing an ash piece right now and hope you don't mind my giving it a try. Thanks for sharing.
