AAW February 2012 Contest

Five axes on 5"D x 10" long dry ornamental cherry log. Finished with 4 coats of Deft Satin Lacquer. Captured ring is done just for fun, even tho it is only on one axis.

Won the contest that matters: My wife has appropriated it. But she wants an identical one to make a pair. Sadly I didn't make note of the settings for the axis, and it was my last such log. Good excuse anyway.
