Multi axis candle holder

This multi axis candle holder is made from Red Oak. It is 13.5"T by 3" square. This represents further exploration of the square type turning that I've been playing with. Comments welcomed.
very nice oak and form

Barbara, this is a wonderful piece, both tactile and visual!

This Red Oak is still drying so I plan to finish it with a Krylon or Lacquer spray. I've learned that the shadows that these turnings can have are best seen with a lighter wood. Otherwise, I'd probably oil it or ebonize it.
