ceadr_with_brass_and_string

Cedar hollow vessel 3 3/4 inches tall 4 inches tall, turned to 1/8 inch thick. Added the brass to hold the string with turned Purple Heart ball. Finished with high gloss wipe-on-poly 15 coats then buffed with the Beal system. After bending the brass rod to the shape that I wanted, marked the spot and drilled 1/8 inch holes to glue the brass into. When the picture was taken, the photographer forgot to pull the blue tape off the bottom of the piece, the photo was taken at the GCWA meeting.
