NE Winged Box

This was made from a scrap of sassafras burl given to me when I made a shop visit to a fellow AAW turner near my home town. The body is about 2" X 4" X 6" with a walnut lid with a handle of cocbolo. I could not make it any thinner because of the shape. The void was from a bark inclusion that went all the way through and flew off while I was turning. It is finished with urethane oil. Comments welcome.
