Waves of Time...

Pine: 9"H X 4.25"W Finish: Verdi-Gris Patina Texture: Wire Wheel.
This made from a cut off 6"X6" remnant from a huge pergola I was building. Combining my decorative painters experience with woodturning. Inspired by Mark Gardner's 2 part hollow form technique. Wire wheel from John Jordan and Mark Gardner workshops. My first stab at both these techniques and then applied a patina with a 3 part paint application consisting of Black primer, Copper Reactive Paint and then a brush on of the patina activator which forces the patina to appear as if it was years of oxidation. Had a blast with the experiment....
