"Turning Over a New Leaf"

(This is my first posting) This Red Oak Vase was turned, carved, pierced, texturized, edge painted with meatllic copper, and airbrushed with transparent acrylic. Approximately 8" x 8".

This was my first piece using carving and airbrushing techniques. Relief carving the surface was originally planned, but then skipped to make a deadlline. As a relatively new woodturner (2 years) I would love to hear your observations, and welcome any advise you can give on how I can improve this.
Ron, Thanks for your kind words, if I have attained any skill it has been because I've been blessed by a few friendships with worldclass turners.
