Eastern Wind

Eastern Wind

I believe the body of the vessel is Myrtle, the base and top are Walnut, and the accents are Ebony. The body of the vessel was hollowed through both of the Ebony side accents. The dimensions are 8" tall x 7.9" wide x 4" deep.
I can't stop looking at it very well done....
love the base and the carving and ebony in center-- saving pic for my own files, love the stand up thing. Just not sure about the hat... Means nothing just my .02 cents

A very beautiful piece - and obviously a challenge!

This is the kind of talent that gives me a reason to push harder with my turning. I look forward to more of your work. This is a real piece of art, VERY NICE.

Very nice turning and design Roger. The more I see this piece the more I like it. Looking forward to see more of your unique turnings.
