Chinese Chestnut Vessel

The wood came from a tree my wife and I planted about thirty years ago and was severely damaged last year during an early fall wet snow storm. The
tree still had leaves on the long sprawling branches and the weight from the snow broke most of the tree. I was forced to harvest the tree.

The size is approximately 6" tall x 4" wide. It's finished with my oil brew and buffed with tripoli and carnauba wax.
very nice, i believe that is the first time i have seen chinese chestnut
