Elevation of the Spirit

This is a little departure from my usual suspended vessels. The Box elder support was turned, carved and textured on the inside of the leaves. The lower part of the base is cherry. All the black parts were "ebonized" with black spray paint. The top of the finial and the lower finial and ball shown in the detail photo are aluminum. The vessel itself is box elder burl hollow form.

It's about 15"Hx 5" diameter.
