Cupcake box

This is my latest cupcake box. I will be changing the icing formula on the next ones. Hopefully it will be better looking and will certainly be a lot stronger.
Deee-licious!
Love the idea.
How are you fluting the cake?
Any shots with the lid off?

Very tasty, but shouldn't the icing extend to the edge of the top?
Or would it be too weak to grasp?

What he said, and what are its dimensions?

John,
Another thought on the icing -- have you tried putting it on with a pastry/icing type bag?

Owen I flute the bottom using a router with a 90 degree v cutter and an index wheel installed on my lathe. I am using a pastry bag, at least to some extent. I'm getting ready to learn to do flowers.
Joe I guess you can run the icing anywhere you want. I prefer to leave part of the "cake" showing to show off that it's wood. These are the same size as real cup cakes.
