Oak Hollow Form

I came home from work one night last week to find a piece of oak log on my front yard. I found out it was my uncle so I made this for my aunt who is 70 years young on Monday. It measures 7" tall by 5 " wide and is finished with wipe on poly. I am not that happy with the finish on this one, the oak is a lot harder to do with the poly but live and learn. Thanks for looking.
Lou
Lovely piece, Lou! Beautiful shape. That star burst pattern looks like fireworks going off. I'm sure your 70 year old (God bless her!) aunt will love it. Well done.
