kinetic tryptych

Another in a series. Box elder, turned on three axes, heads bleached, bodies distressed/textured and ebonized, embedded kinetic mechanism in each. Tallest is 32 inches.
Kinetically there are several programmable possibilities.
Looking inward, each individual faces one of the others, then at random intervals of from about 30 t0 90 seconds, turns to face the other. As if in conversation.
Looking outward, each individual, at random times, turns a random amount, in random direction. This is much richer in interpretation guardians protecting their territory?, a lost and or wonderous group, sometimes all facing the same distant scene, sometimes one as leader the other followers
Peter, this is a unique, interesting trio. These "figures" remind me of characters one could find in the Animusic series. Truly thought provoking.

very nice, when a piece makes you stop and think i believe your craft is into the art demisions
