This table was designed so that I could use the Vega duplicator and try it out to see if it would do decent quality work. It surpassed my expectations. I turned 44 spindles with just over .010" tolerance between all of them. The 3/8" tenons on the end fit the holes close enough that it was really interesting inserting the spindles in the holes in both the rail and shelf.
I mixed up epoxy to a toothpaste consistency and put some in the holes for both the rail and shelf. then I assemble everything while the glue was still wet so that you had some adjustment factor for getting the spindles into the holes.
The rails are made from 2-8 segment rings glued together with overlapping joints. The shelves were glue ups of 2 boards. The legs were turned and feet were carved.
