Victorious

Bloodwood, Pao rosa, Maple. Base is ebonized maple. 18"T x 9"W. I've been staring for years in amazement at Malcolms tube construction pieces and have wanted to give the technique a try. This is my attempt. 1592 pieces. It was an interesting experience.
Very nice piece & I too would have had no patience for all those pieces. Well done.

Hi Alan
This is very excellent . LOvely finish and fine crossover of light to dark. But I'll stick with my spirals.
Best from Jeff

Are you absolutely positive there are 1592 pieces? Maybe you should count them again. Outstanding.

Thanks to everyone for all the encouraging comments.

Alan,
I have no doubts! 199 rings times 8 =1592.
