O Christmas Tree - Again

Some small vases from a Noble Fir Christmas tree. 2.38" x 6.38", 2.75" x 7.25", and 2.75" x 10.75". The shapes were planned to emphasize the knots. The second one almost became a snowman, but that would have been too, too precious. The tallest one has a flared base for stability. All have surplus paintball tubes for water containment, and are finished with EEE and paste wax.

Comments and critiques welcome.
I like. Innovative idea on the use of paintball tubes. This is what I like about woodturners, always on a new idea.

Unfortunately, my surplus supplier (American Science & Surplus) no longer lists the paintball tubes in stock. That's the nature of surplus; you need to grab stuff as opportunity presents, and try to store it in an orderly (?) manner. Glass test tubes and cigar tubes could be alternates.
