"Chopsticks"

Made from bloodwood, ebony, and holly. The sticks are joined with a round mortise and tenon, turned on the lathe. The symbols are laser engraved. The "fish" rest is turned and carved, the eye is turned from holly and ebony. the finish is tung oil.
Very nice. Reminds me of last year when my 3 daughters and I made a lot of sets for Christmas gifts for family and friends. We used a homemade jig, small hand plane and belt sander. They did a lot of the work and decided not to have them try to turn them. Yours look great so if I decide to make more I'll reach out to get some tips from you.
