Cherry burl Hollow form

Cherry burl Hollow form

This cherry tree had numerous small burls along the trunk, and the wood really moved and cracked as it dried. Finished with Osmo Polyx. 6 inch diam by 12 inches tall (including finial). The position of the camera magnifies the finial, making it look out of proportion.
The finial is not my style, but the piece is magnificent!
