Chandao - The Zen Way

12.5 x 8.125". Eucalyptus; carved and inlaid; inside is airbrushed textured black. Eucalyptus is readily available around here but most turners avoid it because it cracks and warps. I don't mind since I like those features, which can usually be incorporated into the design. Most of the wood I get has been cut and left out so there are lots of checks. I turn them away at the top but keep them at the bottom since these pieces can be used as vases for flowers or plants.
