Cedar Double Vase

Cedar Double Vase

This Cedar piece really made me think. It's was a "Y", branch piece. I originally decided on making the two branches the bottom, with a single bowl on top. Once it was getting turned on the lathe it just hit me to reverse my thinking and make the two branches the top and carve them out into a double vase. It's 9-1/2" tall and 7" at it's widest. The branches were hollowed out with several Forstner bits and a Dremel. Finished with Tung oil and Beall buffed. Thanks for looking and all comments welcome, Don L.
very cool, awesome idea, i just got some of this, might have to try something similar. ill be sure to credit you :)
