Cedar Box

Eastern red cedar 1/2" x 1/2" I make quite a bit of these, very quick to make, as there is so little wood to remove. In Alaska, there is western red cedar, which is very bad for turning, but this was a piece I got from the cutoff box at school, though there is maybe one small board in the school shop, and I haven't seen anyone use it, so who knows where It came from. It wasn't big, but I don't have access to eastern red cedar, so I took the little piece. At this scale the walls and top are semitranslucent, but the lid holds on and has a suction fit.
