Catching a Wave

Two Villages Art Society https://www.twovillagesart.org/ in Hopkinton, NH will be hosting a 3-person Exhibition, featuring individual and collaborative works of Kathleen Dustin, Dan Dustin, Hand Spoon Maker and myself. The Exhibition, 'Whose Woods Are These, I Think I Know', opens Saturday, April 26, 2025, 12:00 pm and closing May 17, 2025.

This is one of the collaborative works. I turned the small maple bowl, and hand carved, textured and painted the leaf strand. The wave base supporting the bowl, and small green leaf is polymer clay, made by Kathleen Dustin.
Congratulations on being a part of this exhibition, Donna. Very nice piece. Are all the pieces in the exhibit collaborative works or are there pieces by individuals as well?

Wow, Donna, for a collaboration the way the bowl decoration and the stand work together is really impressive. It'd be impressive if just one set of hands had done it. Very appealing and expressive.

Very nice Donna! The bowl is soooo you; the wave has nice details and motion. The leaf is an interesting add and a nice splash of color! A very cool collaboration!
