Carved Walnut Hollow Form

Carved Walnut Hollow Form

#480 Walnut 5” x 8”. This is my first attempt at carving a hollow form. I used Indian ink and acrylic paint to highlight the carving. Was really worried about carving through the wall 😅so I turned it a little thicker, around 1/4”- 5/16”. Learned a lot and hope to do better on the next one.
bunch of round abouts
