Carved Ash Bowl

This piece is meant to be a whimsical tribute to my favorite potter George E. Ohr, The Mad Potter of Biloxi. A quick google search will show his pottery where he would fold and manipulate the clay.
This piece was turned, carved, sanded and dyed before being finished with Chromacraft dyes and Renaissance wax. It is 5 1/2" x 2 3/4".
