Camphor Vase - Deco form

This is the 2nd in a series of Deco inspired vases made from camphor wood. This piece is 6" tall x 3" at the top w/ a pronounced bevel rim. The base is about 1" dia, and it's about 1/8" thick. I see these two pieces as part of a set (the closed form and this being from the same log) and they were inspired by my last trip into NYC.

Comments and feedback always welcome!
Having tried that long slow curve..........I'll echo Don's post.

thank you all! this had the bevel shape cut into the blank and i worked around it. it wasnt until i thought about after it was complete that i realized i probably could have sanded or ground that shape into the form after it was turned, but what woud be the fun in that?
