"Breaking Free"

A maple hollowform carved and selectively pierced. The grid has been pyrotextured and highlighted with copper and gold Gilders paste. The vessel surface has been colored with several flavors of Transtint dyes then buffed with gold Gilders paste. Satin Deft for a top coat. The stand is from soldered and carved bronze splash polished smooth and flame dulled topped with Krylon matte to keep it that way. The top and finial from maple and bronze. 6-1/2" x 4" x 3-1/2".
