Bowl/Hollow Form - 497

Bowl/Hollow Form - 497

The wood is Brown Mallee with a Blackwood collar. The size is 22"l x 13"w x 5"h. The finish is several coats of Mohawk lacquer sealer and lacquer then rubbed out with 0000 steel wool to a satin gloss. Followed by Briwax applied by hand.
Ed, I like both of these new pieces, but this one is particularly nice. The form and finish are exellent. How is the bottom finished off? Is it fully rounded or did you leave a divet?

Thank you Paul. The bottom has a dovetail recess. I believe I chose to chuck it that way so I wouldn't lose much wood.
