Black Palm Two Ways

Black Palm Two Ways

Simple maple segmented bowl with Black palm "end grain" in feature ring and "side grain" along the top. 5" diameter, 4" H
Paul, great look for the black palm both ways. This really helps me see how I might use the block of BP I have. IMHO the over all shape and execution is super.

Great effect Paul! I would love to hear how the switch in grain direction impacts the piece after a bit of time. The visual effect of the end grain is sweet!
