Black Cherry Natural Edge Bowl

A Natural Edge Black Cherry piece. 7" dia x 4.25" tall
I tried to incorporate the wide sapwood band into the piece and was glad that the bark stayed intact.

A beautiful piece. I don't think you could have done any better with the sapwood band - it's very striking going all the way around. Of course, keeping the bark intact on a piece like this is always a challenge.
