Birch Burl Bowl

Birch burl bowl.
6" dia. x 4" tall.
I cut this burl the same time as I did the other bowl similar to this on the same day. I stored it the same way, turned it the same way, finished it the same way (spray poly), but the colors came out very different. I think that's why we all love wood...the mysteries that we discover in the process of doing our craft.
