Big Red

Big Red is a piece of mountain juniper ,I turned and set to dry for a year. Once dry i carve the cracks big enough to accept the stone, the bark inclusions are further carved as well. The stone is set and the build up of ca continue , once there it’s a little reshaping and then sanding. The finish is also done with ca , sanded to 1000 grit then buffer with white diamond. 10” tall x 7” wide
