BfB with a twist

This piece is made using the standard Bowl from a Board technique, with the addition of the accent stripes being at an angle. This causes the accent stripes to spiral around the axis of the bowl. My first try at this technique. I do not know if anyone else has tried it before. I plan to make another one with a greater angle on the accent stripes and see if I can get them to spiral all around the bowl. This bowl is made from Peruvian Walnut, Maple and Purple Heart, 9"d x 8"h, finished in WOP.
