Balloon

Top of balloon is made from Norfolk Island Pine hollowed to 1/8” and finished with linseed oil. The top section is a bit translucent and allows an internal led light to project through. The top is an interference fit with the bottom section that is made from Padauk, Black Walnut and Zebra wood. The support that holds the balloon is Peruvian Walnut and hollowed to accommodate the electrical cord. The basket is made from Black Walnut and attached to the ballon with bronze rods. The base is a burl. Total height is 25”
