I have to confess I very much enjoy making these pieces, it is a thrill to watch the piece progress from chainsawing in the field to final airbrushing, not to mention everything in between. Even though a good deal of patience is required. This piece has a copper colour with an over spray of a subtle green violet in the ferns blending from bottom to top. With this piece I wanted the ferns to look a little silhouetted but with subtle colour too. If you like you can see a few other views in my new work gallery on
