B.L. Maple bowl

Measures 14 3/4"w x 6 5/8"h the thickness of the walls is 7/8" and the finish is several coats of wipe on poly.
The walls are purposely thick so that I could retain some of the voids in the outer wall without them going clear through the piece.
This was turned from an onion type burl that was actually a healing growth over three different branches that had been broken off when the tree was still young, the shape of the bowl still retains the outer profile of this onion burl, or at least as close to it as was possible.
