Another twig pot

Made with Oleander branches, and Alumilite...
Oleander is highly toxic and can cause death.
All parts of the plant are toxic. It should not be burned as the smoke is toxic.

what precautions did you take in dealing with it?
Does Encapsulating it in Alumilite reduce the toxicity?

It's only toxic if you ingest it or inhale it's fumes, it is not toxic to the touch, although some people can be sensitive to it and can cause skin irritation. I am not sensitive to it, and can handle it all day long without any issues. We have lots and lots of Oleander, and we're constantly trimming it down, so I have quite a plethora of branches and twigs. As far as precautions, as I said, I'm not sensitive to it, so no special precautions. I filled up a 32 oz cup with branches and twigs, then filled with resin. It's been cured and sitting on the kitchen table for about 2 weeks, so I thought I'd make a twig pot outta it. Since it's just for me, I don;t have to worry about it although I did seal it with a couple coats of CA.
