Ancient Dwellings Tower - Front

My latest attempt using Jim McLain's Chaco Technique. Made from Alligator Juniper, this piece measures approximately 10.5" (H) x 4" (D) at the base and tapers slightly to 3.75" at the top rim. There was a large bark inclusion that ran from the top almost to the base which I carved out to create the passage opening. I used Dark Lapis TruStone for the chip inlay & for 5 stone/bricks that were individually cut & shaped to fit. I used 5
different pigment dye blends to color the stone areas and Parfix #3408 for the other non-stone places.
