Amboyna Burl Yo-Yo & Brazilwood Box

This yo-yo is made from a solid block of Southeast Asian Amboyna burl. No glue is used to hold the sides and axle together...it's all one piece. Measures about 2.25" x 1.40" and weighs 63 grams (2.2 ounces), with matching handmade cabochons embedded into each side that shift colors when viewed from different angles, and finished with fine rose engine turnings.

The storage/gift box measures about 3.0" wide and stands 2.8" tall. The box body and lid are made from Brazilwood, aka Pernambuco or Paubrasilia echinata.
