Thanks for the comments everyone. I went through a lot of different design options for this one. I wanted as masculine of a base as possible, and chose similar colored pewa to sort of blend into the Black Mesquite. One of those pieces that took almost as long to plan as it did to execute.

Love the dark-on-dark pewa. Great design decision. Would’ve been easy to go with maple (or the like) and lean on contrast. This was the better decision 💯
