AAW AUGUST 2010 CONTEST

A maple platter, 12" dia., approx. 1" high at the rim. Raised lip at the outermost diameter, with 15 ,1" diameter inserts of oak, cherry,black walnut and maple arranged in a pattern next to the rim. This is followed by a quarter inch wide texturized ring.
Finish is tung oil and buffed with white diamond.
