Hello once again everyone this is my latest piece
"A Turn Of The Century" (A play on a turn of the century oil lamp) The main body is turned and hand drawn and carved African Etimoe, the top section is turned cherry hand drawn and carved colored with Gold Rub n Buff; the base is turned from Maple carved and colored with Rub n Buff. There is a small remote control light inside that lights up the acrylic cylinder that has been glued up with aqua dye, this was also turned on the lathe. The whole piece is 10" x 16".
