27th World Orienteering Championships

27th World Orienteering Championships will be held in Trondheim in August and I was asked if I could make prizes to one of the distances. The Committee wanted the prizes to be local art . Here is the result, these prizes will be awarded to both men and women in the middle distance.
The wood is Ash and the finish is black laquer on the outside and finishing oil and wax at the inside.
On the biggest pieces the final is made from aluminum and the sise is 30 cm, 23 cm and 18 cm wide and 10 cm high.
Wow! I'm almost speechless on this one. They're all beautiful. These folks are going to win something of true beauty. Extremely well done.
