2052 Sequoia Redwood Burl.

2052 Sequoia Redwood Burl from California, finished 8-26-2022. Original block had 14% MC, and after roughing, it took 5 months to stabilize, while losing a total of .11 oz. 9 3/8" x 1 7/8", 9.0 oz total finished weight, sanded to 600gt, Danish oil natural, Beall 3-step buff. This Redwood burl is a perfect defect free example. Redwood is extremely lightweight, and doesn't finish as well as many other hardwoods. Sold for $345.
