1942 Canarywood

Finished 12/12/2021. Original turning block was 28% MC, and after roughing, it took a total of 11 months to stabilize. 7 3/8" x 3", 9.2oz. Sanded to 600gt, Danish oil natural, Beall 3-step buff. Very distinct yellow/orange coloring in this S.American wood. Range is Panama to S.Brazil. Turns nicely. Has undercut rim. "This wood species is not listed in the CITES Appendices or on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species."
