1915 Walnut Crotch.
Odie

1915 Walnut Crotch.

10 7/8" x 2 11/16", 1 lb. 3.2 oz., original block was 26% MC. After roughing, took 13 months to stabilize, anchorsealed, sanded to 600gt, Danish oil natural, beall 3-step buff. Wish I had this nice of crotch figuring any ol' time I wanted......I'd buy a truck load!

Nice piece and yes, wish I could get that kind of figure in all of mine. Then I remember, she'll probably cover it all up with decorative balls or pine cones and put it up on a shelf.

Beautiful work on a beautifully figured piece of walnut!

Thanks Randy and Al, much appreciated gentlemen! :)

Beautiful figure and your usual excellent finish on this one, Odie. Appreciate how you opened up the form and let the wood 'do the talking' on this one.
