Your pieces to me always look to be the correct weight.
For some reason I think a bowl should weigh as much as it should???

I am certainly no authority on the heft of a bowl or platter...but i am put off
When i pick up a piece and it feels light as a feather. or too light
Tho some pieces are right when light. haha

For quite a long time, I concentrated in making thin wall bowls that were very light. I now have a different opinion, as you do, of what the thickness and weight should be. It's now all about what the appearance portrays to the observer, and not some formula contrived by what is established in a group think.
