My Dad passed away in November of 2015. He has two complete shops of lathes, woodturning tools, saws and all the things you need to turn. Unfortunately I am having to sell them to take care of my Mom.

Poolewood Euro 2000 for sale asking $1,500.00. It is the complete lathe has had a new speed brain box put on it by my Dad. He was also an engineer and modified things to do what he wanted. It also comes with a very sturdy bench he built for it with tubes along the back to hold your turning pieces. This price is negotiable. If you are interested or know someone who would be interested please let me know. Thank you.

Sorry forgot email cynthiar43@yahoo.com or (256) 883-0321.
Thank you again.

Cynthia,

There are many woodturners that read the want ads, but not all of them are members of this forum. In order for any non-members to be able to contact you, they would need either an email or phone number. Sharing that information, of course, is up to you.

Want Ads remain active for 30 days, but you can keep the ad active by posting that it is still for sale before the end of that time. Also, if the lathe is sold please post a reply indicating that it has been sold.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. Did he, by any chance, work at Redstone Arsenal? I was an engineer in the aerospace industry and we worked with Huntsville on several projects.

Thank you for that information. I was not sure if you could post email addresses or phone numbers on the ad. I will fix that today. My dad was Bill Liles he worked for Teledyne Brown Engineering in Huntsville.

Where is the lathe located? Huntsville? I'd be interested if it's located a bit further north.

Thanks,
Charlie
I have just spoken with my Boyfriend and he said that if you are really interested in this lathe that he will possibly making a trip up north in the end of February or first of March to get his truck painted in Ohio and would be willing to bring it to you for a small fee to help with the cost of fuel. Let me know if this is something that you may be interested in.
Thank you,
Cindy
