I just installed a new encoder wheel after the original broke. I think it broke because I reassembled it incorrectly after replacing the drive belt.
I carefully placed the wheel between the openings of the optical sensor, but the readout says zero. I contacted Teknatool support and the tech told me the only thing he could think of was the wiring to the optical sensor may have come loose. I just checked it again and found no loose wiring. Hoping someone may know what the problem is. Best, Kim Metzger
