I got a good price from Harvey for the T60-s lathe. It has a couple things I like above the Grizzly. Second set of controls, and the commercial duty motor; though it is a smaller motor, it has some grunt.

I’m confused. From your posts it appeared that you didn't feel non-American made tools were high quality. I believe that Harvey is a Chinese company although it’s possible that some parts of their tools are made in the US. If you want a bullet proof American made lathe, Robust would be my choice. It’s just I can’t afford it.

Neither can I! I spent a lot of time researching....then of course, you never know what's coming on the freight truck from China. Perfect, or busted up and a bad day on the line.
