I'm just getting started and have been looking at the two HTC chucks and it seems that the 100 has a lot more accessories available to tailor it to specific needs.
What's your opinions on these chucks and also these chucks versus the other out there?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Well to answer your question the HTC 125 is a very large chuck. The HTC 100 would be a better fit for your lathe IMO. I have the HTC 125 and it is a very good chuck. However I will be selling that chuck along with two Supernova 2 chucks, and a Barracuda 4 chuck when I get time to list them in the Marketplace. I recently bought the Axminster SK 100 and SK 114 chucks and switching to that brand. I am very impressed with the Axminister precision. Eventually I will also sell my two Record chucks and be down to just the two Axminsters. Jaws between the Axminster series are for the most part interchangeable. One important thing about the Axminster chucks is they are direct thread and should you change lathes to a different spindle thread lathe, they wouldn't work without an adapter. I like the Record chucks, they are almost identical to the Supernovas except they tighten in the right direction. There are many here that have Vicmarc and One Way chucks and highly praise them. I don't own either brand, so those who have them can attest to them.
